The Brass Tacks.

I am a copywriter and marketing director living in Southern California. I got my first paid gig at 15 years old when the local newspaper hired me as a columnist. Fast forward to college days where I continued to write for a newspaper, this time the Duke Chronicle, while studying English Literature. My parents wrung their hands over the fact that I’d never become an engineer, but once I had read Hamlet, there was no going back.

After graduating, I dove head first into marketing and have continued to create content ever since. Some of my clients include CareCredit, the American Dental Association, Guthy-Renker, Pacific Symphony, Sprint, and more. I’ve written about almost every topic under the sun: telecommunications, entertainment, performing arts, healthcare, luxury, travel, action sports, beauty, food, non-profits, you name it.

I love crafting the ideal voice for a brand. Zeroing in the message that’s going to speak insightfully and definitively to the consumer without ever seeing their face is, well, magic. A brand’s voice should be intuitive, warm, and impactful. If your firm is stuck in the land of stuffy content, feel free to drop me a line. I’d love to help you out.
